ABBA Beats Queen's Longstanding Record

Abba now hold claim to having the highest certified selling album in the UK. The record was held by Queen's Greatest Hits Volume 1.

Abba's 'Abba Gold' is now certified 12 times platinum, eclipsing Greatest Hits certification of eleven times platinum. Greatest Hits 1 has held the record since 1992.

Greatest Hits has been on the UK album charts for over 500 weeks.

Greatest Hits 3 is currently at number 49, in its twelfth week, still holding onto its platinum award. Greatest Hits 2 has gone platinum 5 times.
