Since the debut of We Will Rock You in London’s West End in 2002 this groundbreaking ‘Rock – Theatrical’ has quite literally been ‘rocking all over the World’. Productions have been filling theatres in Australia, Russia, Germany, Spain and the USA. As well as continuing its record breaking run at the Dominion Theatre in London, We Will Rock You opens in Tokyo on May 26th 2005.
The release of the ‘We Will Rock You - Around The World EP’ is a celebration of the phenomenal success of all the international productions, the cast members and Queen’s musical legacy. It includes new Queen collaborations with cast member’s (‘Another One Bites The Dust’ with Australian Killer Queen Annie Crummer), a recording of ‘Headlong’ by the Madrid cast and an awesome four song medley performed live by Queen and the cast of WWRY Cologne for the German TV show Wetten Dass.
Also included is new solo material from original London cast members Hannah Jane Fox (Scaramouche), with ‘Stalker’ produced by Roger Taylor and Joshua J. Macrae, and Kerry Ellis (Meat) who has re-worked the Queen classic ‘No One But You’ with Brian May.
Queen recently returned to the stage themselves for a sell out European tour with Paul Rodgers.
