QUEEN guitar legend BRIAN MAY has posted a plea on his website for no birthday presents after previous celebrations have seen him inundated with gifts from fans. May turned 59 yesterday (19JUL06) but made sure it was a quiet occasion but asking his hordes of die-hard followers to donate to more worthy causes than him. One glum fan said, "Brian put out a statement on his website telling us that he finds the whole birthday thing too stressful. "He has suggested that if people do want to do something, they should make a donation to a charity instead."
