New Highlander DVD Release

In 2002, Anchor Bay Entertainment (well known for their lavish treatment of movies) will release a limited edition, 2-disc DVD of the first "Highlander" movie which features Queen on it's soundtrack.

While details on what extras will be included have not been announced, the film WILL be getting a new, anamorphic widescreen video transfer. The current DVD of the film is widely regarded as having one of the worst video transfers in the history of the format so the new transfer will be quite welcome to fans.

One can imagine that with 2 DVD's, there may very well be more Queen content such as 1-2 music videos from the soundtrack or perhaps an audio commentary by Brian May.
